React required a brand identity, name change, and revamped online presence that clearly communicates its position as an un-typical youth theatre.
For over 45+ years, Young Actors Theatre has served the Indianapolis community as a leader in not just youth theatre, but as a pioneer of cutting edge productions. In need of a new name that would capture what they do best, we set off on a two-week design sprint landing on the new name of “React”— a name that not only encapsulates their reacting to social issues by creating thought-provoking works, but also subtly includes the word “act” within the name. In addition, a new logo was devised that cleverly worked in the traditional greek theatre symbols 🎭️. Lastly, I created and developed a new custom website with the new evolved look and treatment of the brand’s visual identity.
